Why isn't there any larger boxes of buckshot or slug rounds?

One of my pet peeves in buying ammo is that the manufacturers never seem to sell slug or buckshot ammo in boxes of more than five.

I wonder where I could get some larger quantites of buck or slug rounds.

I guess cause it costs $2 per shot and up none of us working stiffs in canada can afford more than 5 at a time. Good question though.

Apparently some Canadian tires sell 15 packs of winchester slugs. I haven't seen them but I'm going to look.

CT here has the 15 packs of slugs for $11-$12 or something. so you save like a dollar. I woudln't mind a flat of buck (250 rounds). I think some of the sponsers here would.

One of the local gunsmiths showed me a box of 250 Sluggers, I guess you just need to know where to buy them

In the good old days... you could pick up party pack of 250rds of buckshots from Cabelas, and you got a free ammo can!

I think I pay just under $3.50 / 5 at walmart = $175 for 250. add shipping and it'ts cheaper to keep buying it in 5's..

OH man hurry up with that ammo i have 1000 bucks waiting just for ammo that you said you will bring in around march/april.7.62x39,9mm and now slugs and buckshot.I will have to save a bit more money for them.

Sellier & Bellot (Czech) have the '00' and '000' buckshot in the 25 box size, bought some stateside back pre 911 before 'non resident' gun owners became a insidious social pariah

Natchez has them for 12.99 a box and I buy them all the time. Relax, stand down, be cool - I also have a Michigan hunting license...

Epps had some boxes of 25 slugs and buck shot,2 3/4 ,12 gauge dont remember the price but it wasn't bad.
