but why no 10/30 lar mags?
The 10/33 glock mags are designed for a pistol with no possible argument against that since glock only makes pistols, and rifles that take those mags came later.
The LAR mags are arguably just a rifle mag repurposed for a pistol. The 10 round version is a pistol Mag since 10 round AR mags didn't exist, or were rare before the LAR mags. The RCMP would admit in this case that a 30 rd mag is standard size for an AR rifle, and therefore could justify saying that a 10/30 LAR mag wasn't designed specifically for the pistol.
Or get a .50 Beowulf mag... 15-18 rounds in a standard sized mag body.
You're right, there isn't a steady supply and the Armtac back orders for just 3 mags per person sound like they extend back over a year (maybe more?). But if you can get your hands on one, then you're GTG.Do you know of a steady supply...? You say it like its no big deal...
