Why no .307 winchester love?

307

i had 2 of these big bore 94's brand new in the box. one couldnt keep 3" group at 50 yrds wth factory ammo, the other split cases from top to botom
factory amm as well, i have no faith in that cartridge at all, if you want a 308, buy one, lol, or pick up a savage 99 levergun, or a blr,

also , the 307 ammo was never steadily available, that turned alot of folks away, when i had my guns back in 1995, i was paying 40$ a box, when at walmart 308 ammo was 22$ a box,

thats just my 2 cents, id never own another, and if one was given to me, id trade it for an old 30-30, much more reliable

Hmmm....I guess with the new Hornady leverloution ammo there is probably really no difference between 30-30 and 307.
I may look for a model 94 or marlin 336.

I have the .307's brother the .356 Win. and i wouldn't sell it for anything, not much it won't take down with the 250 gr cast flat point if you aim right. I do believe that the .307 is a very large step up from the 30/30.

Another option is a 300 Savage, very similar ballistics, can use pointy bullets available in a varity of actions, lever, pump and bolts.
