why no one import G36 ??

:eek: So i thought G36 was banned......until that day the guy in BC range shot one and posted it on youtube.

SLK 8 .... mmmmmm yea it looks okay but to the military fans like me, I bet the real G36 is a lot more attractive.......

so why no one import them any more??? is that because germen stop producing the semi-auto ones???

frankly, it's a very good replacement of Swiss Arms green gun ....... in case that gun doesnt exist in this country any more.......
 
A true G36 will run you around $9000.

German export law doesn't allow for military designation firearms to be exported from Germany. That's why civilian sporting models such as the SL8 exist.

Check out the SL8 mods thread (click here). You can dress one up to look like a great G36 clone.
 
9000$ sounds like a lot, but really it isn't that much compared to some guns. Many people in trap shooting spend 10000$ and up from there a lot for shot guns, and there are many other guns in the 10000$ range. I don't know much about the G36 but for that price it should be a very high quality, reliable and accurate firearm. Maybe a lot of the cost is spent on importing and other BS fees thanks to Canada's laws, that might be why nobody does it as it really isn't a 10000$ gun.

Well. G36 isn't really a super high quality gun. It's a military service rifle

The reason why it's so expensive because you can't get them new in Canada or in US if you are a civilan dude

If you try to call HK and ask them to sell you any of their military gun like UMP G36 MP7 416

they will ask you to show them the military or LE end user Certificate. If you don't have one they probly will tell you to Fxx off and not waste their time. Period

Those G36s MP7s UMPs we have floating on our Canadian market are basiclly leaked out from movie industry
but now HK seems found out that loophole so it's almost impossible to get anymore into country


So suppily VS Demand. You are not the only one who seek the cool toys.
There are only so many pieces out there and there are lots peolpe who want them.
That's why. The price jacked up. And only who ever can afford and willing to pay can own one.
