Why so scared to buy an XCR ??

I bought my first computer cutting lawns.

It's a good part time business for younger teens, the key to success is CONTRACTS.
$20 for the lawn once is ok, $15/wk all summer is MUCH better.
I just went and did peoples lawns with their equipment.

oh ya i definately work on conract. i was making over $100 a week cash which was tons in grade 6,7&8. Bought my first and second boat cutting grass. The best though was when my buddy and i in grade 9 tilled half this ladys back yard put down 6 yards of tops soil and a pallet and a half of sod in a week end made about $300 each.

Well if some kind soul would buy me an XCR I would promise to write a totally unbiased review here in 6 months. Hell if you buy me one, I will write whatever you want me to write!!!

What would be a a fair price for a factory xcr alum folding stock/adapter ?
not the m4 type the folding alum stock like the fixed one. stock is brand new never mounted

How does a 17 year old come up with thousands of dollars for guns and ammo? What with school, friends, and with the ever important girls.

This is in no way to knock you, I think it's great a young kid takes interest in legally owning firearms.

Thing about the few of us dedicated kids, is that we have literally no real expenses other than the occasional night out with friends. No rent, no food, no hydro, etc. Sure we may only make on avg $10/hr, but if you have nothing else to spend it on, it adds up quickly :D. A month of working, and you've already got a couple thousand. Especially summertime.

people under estimate our buying power, i go into a gun store and if the guy treats me like s**t because i m a kid screw him ill take my money else where. Thats why i like the guys at Williams arms.

Exactly, they don't realize we don't have nothing too much better to spend the cash on :D. We don't got bills, we keep 100% of our income (minus taxes i guess). I like buying things online, by phone, or through forums. That way you get treated like any other customer, and not looked down upon.

Lol one good thing though is i look young for my age so people would feel bad for me and give me deals at the gun shows :D.

...And I think that's awesome man, I really do. I wasn't asking to break your balls or anything, I was asking because i'm wondering why more kids arn't getting off their ass's like you men are?
Good on you guys.

Lol thanks we realized that you weren't, i was just taking to oppertunity to further my agenda of promoting the equality of youth shooter lol:D

No offense taken, i completely understand your stance, just thought i'd further explain it. Just like dudley was saying, an opportunity to promote the youth shooter is all :).

You are right though, too many kids out there that do work would rather spend their cash on drugs / booze. Or simply just play video games all day, and not do crap all for money. They are essentially the future losers of society.

I have to admit, i've been sinking more cash into the stock market than guns right now though :D. Sooo much potential as everything is fairly cheap now (low was in december, they've gone up since then).

To keep on topic, i haven't gotten around to doing my restricted test, and i'm 16. My parents only got their non-r, so i'm bound to buying tactical rifles in the non-r range. I'm tempted to get this XCR, but i'm letting my 3k grow in stocks for now. Pretty much i'll pay the extra $$$ for the non-r status. I have no use for restricted guns really, because i prefer taking my guns out to the bush, not so much the range.

Well... they can shoot deer. They can keep it as a truck gun. They can use it on bear.

You don't need an ATT to go to the range.

Ar's are sweet but I like to shoot where I want Alberta is pretty wide open and there's alot of land in my family if I lived in an apartment in Toronto and only shot at a range. I would buy an ar . I have never been to a range . And probably wouldn't like all the noise and other people. I perefer to shoot off my deck that's why I have an xcr and not the much better restricted ar:D

So, is the question 'why are people afraid of buying an XCR?' or 'why are people afraid of buying an XCR from you?'

I'm not afraid of buying an XCR from a dealer. When Wolverine calls my name, I'm handing over my cash.

I don't think many people would want to buy a used XCR from anyone asking $2300 on the EE. Especially when there will be new ones coming in for that price, nevermind the upgraded trigger and ambi safety as standard.

Thought you could make a buck off of a backorder, huh?

ouch just pricing it the same as everyone else. and i do know the price of a new one its $2472 shipped to my door . as far as price theres 2 more on ee one 2250 shipped without sights and one at 3000 if u dont like the price there always the obo option . or wait for 1 from wolverine. but 2300 is going rate. Why would i want less than i can get ???. do you have any rifles u want to sell for less than there worth ??

P.s Last time i sold it for 2200 but buyer backed out

Wolverine called me today hope u get a call soon

XCR May Shipment

This shipment is in Canada, hopefully Customs will release them next week, there is a serial number discrepancy that has to be sorted out first. These things always happen at the end of the week so Air Canada gets to charge us extra storage. The first names on our list will be contacted next week.

Price for this shipment is $2,315.00 plus shipping and tax. I can almost hear the howls of protest, but please remember these rifles cost extra for the 18.6 barrel, the pinned on flash hider, the front sight , the rear sight and the rail covers. The good news is that these rifles all have the new triggers and ambi safeties at no extra charge. Rob Arms did not charge us so we are passing this on, at least it helps offset the poor exchange rate. Rob Arms are always prepaid and when we paid for this shipment the exchange rate was not as favorable as it is today. I have been advised that in the future we will be paying approx an extra $100 for these two extras.

Export license is approved for 6.8 kits, the barrel blanks arrived 5th May, we understand that Rob Arms will ship as soon as they are completed, we have not been given a delivery date yet.

We are having a folding stock hinge manufactured in Canada, this will be modular so by mixing and matching parts it will fit the XCR or CZ 858 and use a variety of commercially available butt stocks.

Heh, just re-read my last post. I sound like a ####. Maybe I was a bit too harsh.

Regardless, my opinion stands. I wouldn't buy a used XCR even for $2000 just because I'm holding out for a brand new one with the upgrades.

Out of curiousity, how long were you waiting for the new ones?
