My education came when I didn't check to make sure a locked closet door latched. I put a Parker shotgun in a leg of mutton case into it between hunts and my lab pup got into it. Didn't hurt the shotgun but she made a rawhide chew toy out of the 100 year old case.

funny part is that plastic took the abuse all in stride.. yes there are a few lines but various grits of sandpaper followed by a plastic approved paint and nobody will be the wise.. granted nobody does a search if i ever put it on ee.

wood would have be a lot worse.

I saw takeoff vanguards for $40. Easy fix.
