Why We Hunt

Because I want to, I need to and I love the way everythign goes slow motion when your intended prey makes its appearance.

Because I want to eat, I want to help manage. I like the satisfaction of a successful hunt, or the lingering burn of determination after an unsuccesful one.

I like the pressure/magnatude of/in making the life/death decision, I like the finallity the kill brings. No other activity gives you the felling of achievement like hunting.

I like the unpredictable things that always happen.


I like everything about it I guess. I even like the fact that some people dont like it.
 
I couldn't read that article. Blah,blah,blah it said to me. I hunt because it's a rush and I like to shoot vermin. I haven't deer hunted for years now, but I just love to shoot gophers and crows. I've only been out for coyotes once and really enjoyed it.
