I'm building an ultimate AR15 repair kit for my AR's. Here are my spare parts:

Complete bolt assembly X1
Gas ring set X2
Charging handle X1
Bolt catch X1
Bolt catch pin X1
Firing pin X2
Cam pin X2
Firing pin retaining pin X2
Extra power Extractor spring X3
Trigger spring X3
Disconector X2
Carbine gas tube X1

I think I'll only add a carrier for my bolt to get a complete spare bolt Carrier group. I want to know what are you keeping handy for yours AR???

I order various cheap parts from brownell's to complete my order. When I'm at 85$, I just add 15$ of various AR parts. You can get a lot of springs and pins for 15$ :)
 
What you and the others have listed, plus 5 of all the little parts that like to fly across the room into oblivion, that only your cat will be able to find, but won't tell you.

If his pins are walking its likely he has out of spec pins or holes. It is also possible he has his hammer in wrong as the legs of the hammer spring should keep the trigger pin from walking. The burst fire could be a result of a bad disconnector.

I plan to get at least 1 of everything except the upper and lower receiver and barrel, probably a handful of cheap parts.
Eventually. I spent way to much money way too quickly and it's going to take time to get some spare money. Then, once I have all that I plan to get into serious competitive shooting. As mentioned it would suck to have something fail during an event and be screwed. I want a complete repair and replace kit handy. It's going to take quite a while though.
 
I think I'll add Another stripped lower receiver....... Just in case one of my lower broke. I also think I'll put all my spare parts together on Another rifle. It'll be more handy :)

Really? Gas rings wear out as do recoil/return springs and extractors. I keep spare parts more to save time than anything. Finding spare parts and/or sending a broken gun for repair takes a lifetime. Spare parts keeps that downtime to a minimum and a spare gun makes it non existent.;)

Speak of the devil, I went shooting and I just inspected my bolt. One of my gas rings lost a bit of length... Oops!
