I like to use the Stanag mount with a 4x Hensoldt as it has the see thru option. It odoes depend on if its Metric or Inch though..... Rigrat

The brit army used a SUSAT style scope & mount, no too sure if it is available tothe public.

Belgian Issue Scope

The scope issued to the Belgian military was the O.I.P.. it was mounted on the left side of the FAL and used a cheekpad, similar to the M1 Garand set up, 3.5 magnification, retained on the body cover by metal strapping type bands, original Belgian military issue ones are painted grey and can be found on E-bay occasionally, I own one but cannot get a photo up for reference, check THE FAL series from Collector Grade Publications by Blake Stevens for a photo.g2.
