Winchester commemoratives generally go for $500-600 NIB (new in box), but some may go for more depending on what is being commemorated - eg. John Wayne, etc.

You might want to google Winchester commemorative rifle or similar terms to see what is out there as I seem to recall that there are some websites down in the US that focus on Winchester commemorative rifles.

Good luck in your quest!

That's the website refered to the privious post. Keep in mind that it's americain collectors, up here they are tacky hunting rifles. A guy in the EE is selling some for $1000 plus.

.....................I think he is a dealer. Regardless, these tacky looking commemoratives would have appreciated much more if there wasn't so many made. Anyone i have ever owned i shot the hell out of. Had a few from the early 80's and they didn't go up in price at all in 20 years. Due to Winchester not producing anymore 94's at the moment i guess may make them more desirable but not in the 1000.00 dollar area. Thats ludicrus.:bsFlag:

The only ones that are over $1000 are the John Waynes (and maybe a Calgary Stampede)

The rest are shooters. And Im one of the guys that has quite a few of them. They have not gone up in price and I doubt they ever will.

"...in the box..." Sealed in the box or just in the box. It matters. Even then you have to find somebody who wants it. There's little or no collector interest.
