Wicked deals on VZ 58's at Wild West!

That's the truth you can believe it or not. Calling me a liar ensures that I will never be back through that door

Not a chance any of or staff would talk to a customer like that, ever. It is a lie. Most of our staff have been there for years and enjoy meeting new people and introducing them to the shooting world. When we do have someone newly hired, they are trained and supervised for an extended period of time.

Also, we probably have a dozen or more 9mm's on the range. Shooters are not only allowed, but encouraged to try other guns. They are free to change guns at any time during a session.

Hihi962, you mean 9mm Makarov? We have never had that reloaded for range use and have never used it on the range. Of course it's impossible to trace anything that you say is many years ago, not sure what you expect us to do.

Using our ammo has nothing to do with safety, but I'm sure other people will be interested so I'll address it in a new thread.

I don't expect you to do anything about it, it was just for informative purposes, and I do 100% guarantee it happened there, there were two Makarov's in the box. Not sure how it happened, but I know it did, i still have that brass (whats left of it).
And as far as the shooting outside ammo comment, i overheard one of the ladies say safety was the reason he couldn't shoot his ammo on the range, thats why i mentioned he had new 9mm luger american eagle. He was complaining before he was turned away, because he said he didn't even open the boxes yet.
Call me a liar if you like, but those things really did happen. I am not trying to attack you guys or discredit you, hey if i could sell stuff for a good dollar I would be doing it too! Someguys are angry about high prices, but no one is forcing them to shop there, if thats the case.
I was just disappointed driving 1.5 hrs to get a gun thats not there, then went to place a (notify me) online and seen the sale price higher then the list, so I posted.

Like I said, no way to trace it from that long ago, but we have never used those rounds on the range.

People would be shocked at some of the things we've found in name brand factory ammo. Mixed ammo is not uncommon.

I keep seeing this thread come up and I just wanted to throw my penny's worth in... I see a lot of people complaining about this company, who I personally have never dealt with. If you don't like their prices, voice your opinion with your money and don't buy there. Simple, right? As for the range issue, I have yet to see a range that lets you combine personal ammo with range owned firearms. I get that, and it's for a variety of reasons, I'm sure. Obviously, this company has enough customers to stay in buisness. That tells me one of two things: Either A) People continue to shop there despite these issues (i.e. all bark and no bite) or B) These are isolated complaints from customers who had a bad experience for whatever reason. That's bound to happen in buisness. I worked at a small pet food store one Summer back in my teens. No matter how polite and reasonable I was, there would always be that "one guy"... Don't be that guy... Anywho, I could be wrong so, please, continue. It's entertaining.

Yeah went to shoot a glock of all choices (LOL) But ended up with a different handgun all together??
I'm glad I didn't pay for the 44 mag as I'm not sure they can tell the difference, but anyhow it was a fun..

I'll throw in some postive :

Found a muzzle brake for my rifle there, zahal had it for 55$US + shipping and WW had it for 59.99$CAD+tx +10$ shipping. Been looking/waiting for a good muzzle device for a bit, glad I found itvat a very decent price there.

Honestly, you are an ass. I'm just giving you some feedback based on my experience. Calling me a liar is completely inappropriate.

I am telling you there is no way any of our staff would say to a customer "either take this one and shoot it or get out" 100% impossible and I have
already explained why.

I said the statement you made is a lie, I didn't call you a liar (you did that on your own)

There are other possibilities, perhaps your memory is playing tricks on you?

When you start a post with the word honestly, that throws up so many more red flags.

I went shooting there twice before I had my pal while the family was shopping in the mall. I used their ammo. It was "expensive". But the guns were exactly as advertised. I tried a few on the line. Everyone was more than polite. I saw them helping out new shooters. It was a great experience. You can't take in your own ammo? Waah. You can't take a big gulp into a movie theatre either. Next time I'm in Edmonton with the family I will go again. If it costs me a couple hundred bucks to save me an hour of mall time, so be it.

Do have the power to clean up your own forum?
There are a bunch of classless posts here. A certain level of respect should be expected when posting in a dealer forum.

This OP sounds sooooooo much like what happened to me and my M&P. Maybe your promising customers a price or item, or even putting an item on the shelf without the invoice to price it accurately with, practice should be re-evaluated.

And I assure the other members that my money has done my talking.

maifire,
I am not surprised with the M&P price increase, but it's out of our control. For a quote without a deposit, we can only tell you what we sold it for last time. If you put a deposit, we can source it and give you a firm price. There are still some deals on old stock here and some other shops too, it pays to check around right now.

Was thinking the same. Most likely losing customers every time he posts.

Not at all. A couple guys who called in for guns today said they were buying them because they read this thread. That was kind of funny, I should thank a few people here. But it's not about the sales, its about the relationships, it always is. That's the true value and that's why I never care if someone buys something somewhere else.

Most people understand that if you're successful, you will have some haters. And you know, haters gonna hate.
