Wierd replacement stock on eddystone P14

Whats with this stock design?

I have heard that Estonia or Ukraine restocked some P14's at one point.
I wonder if this might be one of them?

Almost looks like a Laminate from an SKS....

Probably a one off someone did for ####s and giggles. It's not laminate though, some kind of elm would be my guess.

Yes, some one who didn't like the 'dogs leg' bolt handle and who didn't like the 's' on the floor plate!
