Wife's first deer

Hi all, just had to post some pics of my wifes first deer. She was a first time hunter at the tender young age of 52. One shot free standing on the third last day of the season up here.

She was shooting her Savage model 111 in the .270 caliber useing 150 grain.
The scope is a Bushnell 3X9.

The buck was kind enough to step out into the open and gave her a standing broad shot at a little over 50 yards. Shot placement was through the heart and a very short tracking job of 25 - 30 yards.

I had her shooting the heavier slug due to bringing her on my moose hunt this year and hoping she could fill the partner licence on my anterless draw. She's already planning our next moose hunt in 2011.
I think she is hooked
