Wife's New Precision Rifle

Finally got my wife's first precision rifle built!

Here are the spec's:

- Lone Peak Fuzion action
- Brux 24" Heavy Palma barrel chambered in 6BRA by TS Customs
- KRG Bravo with custom paint job by Custom Gun Coatings, KRG ARCA spigot and ARCA bottom rail
- Steiner M5 5-25 x 56 scope w/MSR reticle
- Bix n Andy Tacsport 2 stage trigger
- Atlas PSR bipod with RRS ARCA adapter

There was a guy who would come to all the mini shoots around here and use nothing but a pink rifle. He won almost every single competition he was in with that pink rifle.

Crazy nice rifle. I like my bravo stock on my bighorn tl3. That barrel looks almost as thick as my mtu contour

Thanks! It's a fairly thick barrel - it's a heavy varmint. Makes the rifle a bit front heavy in a KRG Bravo

The Bravo is a great budget chassis. I'm really impressed with the value this chassis provides. Plus the accessory support is great from KRG, allowing you to really "dress it up" as you please.

I love them. Have them in 3 rifles now. They feel great, and have awesome adjustability.

I ordered my build to have a heavy varmint contour benchmark barrel and it me it appears to be a mtu comtour. Waaaay too front heavy.

Heavy Varmint is a really stout profile. My 6BRA is a 28" heavy varmint

I find MTU balances pretty good but bravos are light.

I think a medium Palma/marksman contour would balance nicely with a Bravo.

I think I'm going to have to put a little weight in the back of this chassis.

That’s what I should have done with. Bravo is so light as it is. Now it’s strictly a rifle to shoot targets with. Medium Palma would b nice

CTR balances very well with the Bravo. Hand in glove. Amazing.

Did you lose some of the grippiness when you had the rifle coated?

I've got an older Rem 700 of mine with a 26" med Palma in .308 in a Bravo and it balances really nice. Weighs about 13.5lbs with bipod empty mag and a Bushy HDMR2. Keeps you on your toes, recoil-management wise too, compared to my heavy 6mms.

Ya those barrels are much better balanced. Mine is like artillery compared to those barrels lol

Still feels grippy. I would have to have a "naked" Bravo right beside it in order to see what grippyness, if any, has been lost.
