Wiil there be a new round of hoarding?????

I am hoarding and always will. I try to have on hand about 5 years worth of components at a time.

That's not really hoarding...thats getting started.

Guys in the US have enough components to last 20 years. It will also take them about the same to pay off their debt...but hey they got guns and ammo

Scott r, it may not be hoarding in your eyes but to me I am hoarding. Not everyone one lives in areas of the country where there are overpaid workers making 6+ figures. I work overtime when it is available to support my competitive shooting. So far this past year I think 20 hours DT. That is not getting me very many components or trips to the US.

If your still trying to make up your mind then your too late...

The buying frenzy is on and yes most stores in the states have been cleaned out...

There was a lineup at Dillon precision 6 deep all buying kit for .223 and the component shelf was bare, very little ammo on the shelves at any store, not a single Pmag or any other AR mag in AZ I found, I spotted 4 AR's in 9 days across Phoenix.... They were all .22's.... And I stood in lineups 30-40 people deep just to catch a glimpse....

This is going to put us Canadians in a bad spot untill the US actually does ban 5.56 and the manufacturers are provoked into flooding our market with stock they have no choice but to move....

Folks.... Stock up, NOW.

what??? i didnt know the first hoarding was over yet? allways pays to buy when you can try to buy it when i can. i still useing powder and primmers some that are 20+ years old. guess its in my nature to be prepared

Nope,, not as much ammo being used by the military like in 08. And we in Canada can import Norinco ammo from China not so much in the US,,,

All the same I like to keep a good supply on hand and rotate stock,,

+1 As soon as I find a load for a new firearm, I stock up with at least five years worth of most components. There have been several shortages of components over the years, but I have never run short myself. I was down to a few thousand primers at one time, but that is as close as I have come to running out.

If your running components in from the US, you have more to worry about than just hoarding.

JJ-65, you are NOT reading my post correctly. I just am saying that I pay for my components with the OT that I work and that the OT I work is used to pay for my trips to the US when I attend matches. If you go back and read ScottR's post where he said I am not hoarding and just getting started and go from there.

I am all to familiar with the possible perils of brass, bullets, primers, powder and bringing them in from the US.
