wild boar in manitoba

is there anyone around who has gone hunting for boar and know some areas or who to talk to get started.i've ben looking for a while and have come up short.was hoping to do it in the next month or so.any help would be appreciated
 
I have hunted boar in and around my property ( shot 5 )but they have moved off in last two years have only seen one. And had no lightning rod with me. They seem to have moved into nocturnal mode and to the north east of the trans canada and 302. Reports of guys shooting them at midnight which of course is illegal. Other guys set up box traps and put feed in them. shoot them in the box.what sport is there in that.
 
as usual some guys are idiots but is there a farmer in the area that is ahving a problem or a c.o. that has them in the area or can steer me in the right direction
