Anyone watch this Nat Geo reality rag? Thoughts? Don't seem to give hunters much of a chance. Quotes like "despite having firearms, no charges were laid".

I've been taping this on my DVR,seems like a good show, I've been following it since I'm interested in the same line of work. One thing I have noticed, outside of a warrant for "failure to appear" they don't arrest many people? Lots of "leg work" (ie) warrants but that seems to be it. Overall a decent show though.

yea watchin that show right now man, i dont know they seem pretty easy going with the hunters that are doing it right. Quote: ''best of luck tommorow, hope you kill something''. coming from the officer

beside few hickups (already mentioned) quite a bit interesting, though a lot of posturing (during investigations)

its not COPS, but worth watching, if the 'hunt the hunter' think doesnt easy up Ill lay of it

This is just an "observation" so please don't take it out of context. In the opening you see a couple of guys "camed" up with an M14.It seems to me that most LE agency's in the US, even "fish and wildlife" are becoming more like military units? They seem to have no shortage of resources thats for sure.

not a fan ether seems to me thy blow things out of place befroe going in and when thy get there nothing to see DUTCH

I have watched a few episodes and I find it a nice change from the usual....as has been mentioned the show could be better but its decent compared to a lot of the crap on tv. I find it interesting how much the drug trade overlaps with the poaching ie. lots of guys they investigate seem to be users/addicts. I will keep watching it if I see that its on, but calling hunting poachers could turn me off - haven't noticed that yet, maybe I am not watching close enough
