wild tv on starchoice?

I love WildTV!! I have it on my Bell ExpressVu. :D

I gotta say though, that I started out with a StarChoice and just got fed up with it. The programming sucked compared to Bell ExpressVu, it seemed like it lagged when switching from a TV program to guide, and the customer service just wasn't as good. IMO if you're just starting out on the whole satellite TV thing, you're better off with a Bell ExpressVu. :)

WildTV is frickin' awesome! Only one complaint, and it's no fault of the network, the shows have too much bow hunting. I'm not a bow hunter myself and still like watching bow hunters do their thing...but I'd say about 75% of the programming is bow hunting. I think it should be about 50-50...but, having said that, I still love the channel! :D
 
Yes lots of bow hunting. Also quite a bit of fishing. Do people actually watch fishing shows?? I find it extremely boring. Bowfishing is pretty cool but I'm sick of seeing all these fishing shows.


Saturday is the best day for Wildtv. Predatorquest, jim shockey, Petersons hunting and a few other good ones.

Thank god Starchoice has it now!! almost switched to bell.

I'm pretty sure that Canada In The Rough does come on WildTV...at least it did, unless they've recently taken it off their network.
 
Our -40C below snap finally ends and Wild tv comes on Starchoice chan. 456 :dancingbanana: Where was it when I was stuck inside and buying Jim Shockey dvd's? I'm gonna subscribe when the free preview is over, now back to bear hunting in Saskatchewan :D
 
Wild TV is the single most watched channel on Bell in Canada...
Star choice figured it out right quick. This is a boon to the shooting sports and hunting in our country and any firearms related industry should get right on the advertising available on this channel. Canada in the Rough is already on this channel with their show along with Stoeger Canada and many Canadian Outfitters,
OFAH is already using this exposure to raise its profile in Ontario and the NFA is all over it too... CSSA should get smart and climb on this opportunity.
 
Absolutly right. In my opinion, all provincial orginizations should raise the money for a spot of commercial time. There are plenty of hunters and fishermen out there who do not belong to a club. It's these clubs that help our cause more than any other and provide land to use and act as our voice when it's needed. I'm hoping the AFGA jumps on this.

Yeah buddy... I am sick of hearing these clubs cry poor.... help us fight the fight... yada yada... bottom line is if you want to raise your membership raise your exposure. Affiliate Marketing and Internet is only scratching the surface... go with the media everyone knows and uses... television!:slap:
 
black out when watching??

I have been watching now for a couple weeks and the channel blacks out once in awhile, for a minute or 2 at time. Anyone else experience this??? None of the other channels do this I assume it is the channel itself.
