The rifle is a Howa, (same as Weatherby Vanguard, but with a Knox style stock). I don't know why he needs that stock on a .204 Ruger, hardly any recoil anyway...
The shotgun is a Hatsan Escort, made in Turkey. Utility grade shotguns, you can buy them from Frontier....

I bet he kills 80% of his coyotes with the shotgun, much more than I expected.

The show is ok , but there isn't much new from clip to clip.
He uses that equipment because they are his sponsors. Having said that, the Howa is a popular predator gun and those that have them are pretty impressed with them.
Shotgunning coyotes is the only option in some areas due to legal restrictions or terrain. When I go to Arizona I sometimes use a shotgun for up close and personal. With the new Dead coyote loads the range and lethality is extended.

That stock on the Howa is god awful. Makes me feel sick when i see it.
also whats the deal with Border Crossing Scents?? Does anyone actually use that stuff. LOL Les has been shooting coyotes for over 20 years, do you think that stuff gets him more coyotes???? I doubt it. So many sponsers and stuff, he just uses what ever they give him. I like how he made his own call "ruffydawg" and ditched "Critercalls". Both calls looks the exact same and he produces the very same sound. Its all about the money now with Les, but I still watch his show every once in a while.

I PVR it. Some days I'm in the mood for it, some days I'm not. But the guy knows his stuff and it makes me want to call yotes. What's wrong with that?
I want to call "yotes by instinct only. Wild TV only wants to make me change channels....and that's when I had it for free, the best 5 bucks I never spent. I easily get turned off by homos hugging and high fiving each other after shooting a forker buck......ps, wait by american standards, that was a four pointer

I seem him shoot a coon before too. He'll shoot anything that comes close enough to him it seems.
If any sponsors wanted to gave me some $$ and new gear/rifles to go do what I'd be doing anyways, I'd jump on that bandwagon pretty quick too.
The shotgun is fine, I'm sure. I'll just never get used to seeing a shotgun with a bi-pod.
The bi-pod he uses is not to aid shooting at all other then to keep the barrel off the ground and give him quick access to it.
