Wild TV :(

Sure it could be better. It would be nice to see more shows focus on the hunt, rather than the "shot". But until something better comes along it's still my favorite channel. I'm hoping some media coverage will encourage some fence sitters to take up the sport. We need more hunters to keep our heritage alive.
 
I don't subscribe, but I have seen it. Like most hunting shows, you have the shows that are really interesting (mostly the mountain hunitng in Canada and Alaska)

And you have the whitetail over a feeder shows (boring)

And you have a few in between (black bear hunting in BC, Yukon moose)

Unfortunately , there are far to many boring whitetail shows. I liek the African ones, it's interesting to see how others hunt in other continents.
 
So what kind of shows would you like to see on the channel?

What about shows about other outdoor sports?

Diving? RV'ng? Flying? More tracking and survival? Maybe outdoor photography?

Must admit WildTV is a "love/hate" thing with me. Love the odd, well done Elk hunt and the occassional legit deer hunt, but hate all the canned-hunt's and all that American street-slang they spew out. It's pretty obvious that there's a concerted effort to "grow" the next world-record Whitetail and will likely be caught on camera in I-O-WA as Stan Pots would say.

I have seen the channel.

I find I am too busy hunting/fishing/scouting/reloading/shooting/quadding etc. with my wife and son to be watching TV.

Same here, ditch the fishing shows.

And could there be anything more boring than watching turkey hunting. Far too much turkey hunting and they always carry on like its the toughest animal to hunt in the world.........


I wish randy anderson would do a show. (one without those twits from Primos)

X2, Geoff just about covers it it for me.

I do watch and enjoy Predator Quest. Makes good entertainment at night when it's -30 out.

I would rather be in the field or at the range at any other time.
 
Relentless Pursuit, predator quest, northamerican whitetail, rackman, Jim Shockey, hunting canada and beyond are pretty much the only shows I watch.

YES Tiffany is every hunter's dream wife but how about them southern boy's? There channel is the outdoor network USA and it's called "Hunting the world Southern Style!"
DAMM I miss my dish network tv...

When I first got Wild tv it was on 24/7, I would be doing other things but still had it on just in case something grabbed my attention. Now I rarely turn on the tv and if I do it's one of those self defense shows or fishing nothing I am interested in watching. I want hunting!!!!!!!! Waterfowl,whitetail,turkey,African,TIFFANY :bigHug: :bigHug:
