Wild West Guns (Alaska)

Awesome news. I had approached them about 10 years ago at SHOT show to distribute their products in Canada and they wanted absolutely nothing to do with Canada, in fact it was quite insulting.

But glad to see they see our potential!

I totally customised my 45/70 with all the WWG parts I could get, paid for it tho' ......thru brownells....as WWG's wasn't shipping to Canada. Glad to see you guys teaming up with them. The bear proof ejector and big lever and trigger happy were awesome additions to my 1895GS......I also ordered blued gate, hammer, extractor,XS full ghost rail and all receiver screws from brownells to contrast with the stainless....looks awesome.

Next additions will be a Midwest M-lok forend and a Boyd's straight grip buttstock in forest laminate :)

I will definitely be looking to customise my marlin 44 next.....and you will hear from my CC when you start stocking WWG stuff.......good job guys

I bet you'll sell some of these.

Quite a few!

We have been contacted by Jim West of Wild West guns in Alaska.

https://www.wildwestguns.com/

They are interested in partnering will us as they have had lots of interest in their guns and parts from Canadians. We have also had lots of calls from Canadians looking for parts and rifles. So, we will be stocking parts and some rifles in the near future. We will have pricing in a few days and will start taking orders soon after. We are excited to have this opportunity to work with them.

I'll spring for a Marlin 1895GS takedown conversion if the price is reasonable.

I went with the Happy Trigger, ejector, magazine follower, light mount and the ghost ring sights though I have lost the stainless steel cutaway front sight hood while hunting in the rain.

Good kit.

Don't know if PR has a resident gunsmith.
If so get the WWG boys to train him on how to do the Marlin 1895 takedown conversions.
It isn't that hard.
If I had access to a lathe and a few more tools I could do it myself.
We got Winchester (94) and Browning (BLR) levergun takedowns in Canada but no Marlin 1895 takedowns.
