More or less what elk master said. legally I don't think you can kill it... but if you modify the three S's you might be able to get away with it.

If you stated it was threatening you or doing damage to your yard you probably could get away with it. Although again from my understanding only an officer in Ontario can put one down as its considered an escaped livestock.

Passed this site around the lunch room one day at work when a guy decided to go on a there are no boars in alberta rant.
Not only did he shut up,
Its the homepage for atleast 10 of the managers now!
I didnt know it had caught on til over the intercom came "Check the boar site, theres another one!"
It has been decided that if anyone gets one, we get to roast it at work, and have a half day friday with a bbq!

Just as a heads up, had an interview with CTV today. Sounds like it will be broadcasted sometime next week hopefully

LOL one of those boar sightings on the website is right on top of a boar farm.
which one would that be? I'd like to remove it if indeed it is.

Sounds good, if anyone has any pictures of them with a boar they took down please post them up here.
First pic was a pretty good day. Got these 4 with my blr in 450 marlin that was bought just for hunting wild boars.
Second is a very large boar that was over 400lbs on the hoof that I had mounted. Turned out awesome. Shot at under 25 yards with a Browning x-bolt in 325 wsm.
