Wildcat .22 High Velocity standard lead in 10/22

Glad I bought some of those Butler Creek steel lip 25 rounders before the big "embargo"! Going to do some crazy plinking next weekend! :p
I still cannot get over that..:(...well, happy plinking!
I tried a search but can't find anything about this "embargo". Can you give me a thread link?

I just picked up the bulk pack of Blazers at Canadian Tire. Cheaper than buying it by the 50 round box but I too prefer the nice little boxes, at least for the Blazers. Still they cost a lot more than they should compared to what I see them for in the USA. My S&W model 41 seems to like them the best.

Unpacking 50 at a time makes it easy to see how much is used and left and gives me a "that's the last box before I go home" option. ;) 500/525 round bulk packs make it harder to leave... "just one more mag for the road".

I didn't read it online. I spoke to people at Lebarons and Williams Arms who said that the States will not allow the 25 round Butler Creek mags into Canada. It is nothing to due with a Canadian law but the US thinking we are harbouring terrorists. Go figure!

Can Tire has this Blazer ammo that comes in a brick of 525...

Does it have anything to do with the CCI Blazer ammo? If it doesn't it sure seems like a copy with the same colours and pattern on the box...

Sorry for yet another question but has anyone tried the Can Tire Blazer ammo? LOL

Best of the cheap bulk packs IMHO. I use it in everything and it's accurate and reliable. It's $11 a brick in Stittsville at Benny's.

I must be very lucky with Winchester Wildcat`s ....While I don`t have a 10/22, I have been shooting Wildcat`s for over 18 years and I can count on one hand the number of misfires I`ve had...Le Barons sells Wildcat for 20 bucks brick, making it far cheaper than the others...I can`t stand Remington stuff...

Yeah.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.:runaway:

According to what I read around here, I should not possibly be able to hit anything with my 20+ year old, bone stock, 10/22, without spending another $600 on accessories and replacement parts.

OK, so it's not actually bone stock. I replaced the cheap Carbine birch stock with another one, same as, that I found at the Salvation Army, for $3.00. Someones dog had chewed the wrist up pretty good. The beater stock is still on it, because I don't have to feel guilty about it getting beat up, and is much looking like it's been there and back.
And I took out that damn bolt hold-open.

It's gonna be really screwed up, back in the hills behind Moose Jaw, when all those gophers find out that they are not actually dead, because they were not shot with good ammo, either!:D

Good thing they cant read, eh?:dancingbanana:

Cheers
