wildcat calibres and custom rifles

hey
i would just like to know if anyone has ever heard of the 35-348 ackley improved wildcat cartridge. What there thoughts are on a custom bolt rifle in this calibre?? I was thinking along the lines of a remington model 700 sps youth model? can anyone help me out.

It's a rimmed case, designed for lever action rifles (specifically the Winchester 86 and 71). Basically a 35 Whelen for lever guns. I wouldn't bother in a bolt gun, if you want a 35 on a 700 youth gun, try a 358 Win, 350 Rem Mag, or 35 Whelen (depending on action length and bolt face), and if it is for a young person, I would personally look hard at the 358 Win. - dan
