Wildcat stocks

I've used a few and, in general, I like them. I did get one in which the filler in the action area was soft and I had to dig it all out but this was a one-time occurrence and not typical at all. The stocks are light, strong, and the styles are good. A bit more work than a MacMillan or Bansner but much less than a Brown Precision.

Ok so lots of people like them. An edge is ~1k these days. What's the price for a ready to go wildcat?
If you pay somebody to finish it around $1000. They are only cheap if you finish yourself. You are looking 350-450 for a sanded and filled blank. Then it needs inleting work, bedding, I like to pillar bed them as well, grind to fit recoil pad and paint. Depending on the stock there can be a fair number of hours to get them just right. Great project for the do it your selfer. Near the same cost as a McMillan if you are paying somebody to do it.
