Wildfires

Had an elk hunt in Montana all set when the outfitter called and said that the forest service had closed the access trail into the his camps because of the fires. A thousand dollars to Montana that they may not refund and another year gone bye. I'll be 76 next month and don't know how many more years I have left to do this. I left the deposit with the outfitter and I'm hoping for a license refund and thinking about next year. OK, now i will stop whining and crying.

Feel your pain. There will be many areas of BC where the same thing is going on. Tough year for the bush in many places. Good luck for next year.

Lost my once in a lifetime Ram hunt to the fires. Took the kids grouse and bunny hunting and camping for three weeks instead. Had a great time.
