That was a female we found last year eating her cub. Probably the cub starved and she wasn't in great shape either.

This moose had fallen into the river & was helped off the ice by a bunch of local guys. She even allowed them to take the ice from her feet because she was so exhausted from trying to get up.

This was taken in Northern Quebec on our first trip to our hunting and fishing camp in 2007.
