Hey everyone,

Im looking at reloading .32 special for my Marlin 336RC, as i have accumulated a fair amount of brass and the ammo is getting harder and harder to find.
The problem is I am having difficulty trying to find any bullets for the .32 special.

My reloading manual lists bullet diameter as .321g
I'm assuming 8mm mauser wont work (.323) as its diameter exceeds .321 and the bullet weights exceed what is recommended for .32 special and the spitzers wont work n a tube mag.
I am however able to find .32-40 bullets (.322) in 170 grain RNFP

Will these 32-40 bullets work through my marlin with ballard rifling?
and will the load data be the same for the .32 special (.321) 170 grain bullet?

These bullets work well in my Marlin (1953 with Ballard rifling)... Besides, you want a cast bullet to be slightly over-sized anyway.

That being said, I HAVE shot 8mm bullets single shot style through my rifle (with a slight reduction in load) with no ill effects.
