yer ive just had problems getting the papers changed on one wingmaster that i did, but for a verifier that will do it.
i just picked up a few more shotguns, was swaping the parts around and see that most of them fit.
capt Canuck
The other summer, i was doing some work on a 870 shotgun, for someone, short barrle, new stopcks sidesadel that kinda thing.
Did not bother cleaning it or striping it, as that was not part of the work asked.
I take it out to the range with a few other gun i was working on, port load a single 12ga round and pump it foward, as i was allmost locked the round gos off, boom! the gun blows up! exstractor shell plate and other crap i,n a million bits in my forarm and leg!
1st aid on the range was fun, gerber multi tool, antiseptic and my trusty side kick fixed me up.
Turns out to be that the gun is so dirty that when i striped it the nexed day there was so much hard crud in the area that the hammer catches that it did not catch and the hammer droped on the firingpin as i was closing the aciton.
Another reason to allways keep you gun pointed down range.
And never point you gun at somthing you dont want a 4in hole it
i was using a 3ins #2 shot
so just dont want a 14ins barrle blowing up in my face
