will a vq extractor pull stingers

I have a 11.5" barrel with what I think is a bentz chamber on a 10/22. I recently started shooting stingers out of it and I really like them, it just won't extract the live ones. Will a vq extractor pull them out? I'm new to stingers not 10/22's.

I hear it helps, but a Bentz chamber is not for stingers. The actual cartrige is longer than what the chamber is designed for. Also, even if it does shoot and extract, the twist of the rifling is not correct for the faster bullet and won't be that accurate in it.

I have had a few different bentz chambered barrels and regardless of what type of extractor used, I have had no luck getting live rounds to extract. The chamber is tight. It improves accuracy but can cause some big issues when a ceasefire is called at the range. Anyone else have a fix for this?

Only use stingers in sporter chambers-----not bentz chambers. The stingers are too long.

The Stngers are engaging the bore and this is why the extractor is unable to disengage the live round. Rimfire chamber dimensions are listed below... in general, tighter chambers are more accurate, but they also cause issues with reliable function when coupled with semi-auto firearms.

The "Ruger" 10/22 factory chamber is the "Sporting" chamber above.
The "Bentz" chamber is the 'match' chamber for semi-autos.
The "Match" chamber is for bolt actions.
The "Win M52-D" is a bolt action target rifle.

thanks for all the replies. they are accurate in my rifle but I guess I will live with them not extracting. It's not a range gun anyway just a plinker/hunting gun

On a plinker you would be better off with a sporter chamber... it will shoot anything... tight chambers are best when you are more serious about really tight groups. I don't shoot Stingers or Velocitors in any rimfires because every time that I have tried them, they shot like crap. Mini-Mag solids and HP's have shot the best of the HV stuff I have tried... but I mostly stick with SV's or when plinking, bulk Blazers... if the Stingers are working for you, go with that... they sure have alot of pep.
