Will after market rigger avoid Rem 700 problems?

Sucks to see quality control going downhill. No argument there.
I've had to have a few Remingtons fixed before I used them.
Never had an issue with the trigger.
If your trigger has never been adjusted and it fires at random yours will be the first proven case in Remingtons history.
5,000,000 rifles and yours is the first trigger mechanism to malfunction on its own?

Ship the rifle to guntech.
If he says the trigger is defective and appears (factory sealed) I will pay for the repairs and will give you one of my own Rem 700 triggers that are in perfect working order (I have a few from target rifles that now wear Jewel triggers).
Otherwise you pay the bill.
Either way we will report the findings here.

This should end gentlemen. It is becoming plain silly. I don't think anyone in thier right mind would mail off thier rifle because of an internet challenge. All such challenges prove is that Canadians still have some common sense.

It became obvious that this thread was a mistake. In fact I have tried to end it so we can all get back to having fun. PM me if you wish I'll be in Red Deer this week.
I was referring to the challenge not your skill.
In fact I Remmy lefties back on my possible list now that I can ship just a trigger and have it adjusted properly and inspected for safe service. I ship nothing in the mail if I can help it. With our gun laws and all the grief over missing firearms I don't want to risk shipping if avoidable.
What would a 700 trigger job cost a guy roughly? I like crisp and medium weight 3.5-4 #'s.
If you have a dangerous rifle and you need to fix it. To leave it alone would be (at the very least) unwise.
My suggestion will solve your issue and it will speak to the quality (or lack) of the Remington trigger.
I am confident enough to put my money behind what I suggest.
I don't think you should take that as a personal attack (it is not), rather as an indication your rifle is fixable.
Dennis is a highly qualified gunsmith that I have used for my services for near 30 years. If the trigger is defective he would be the first to contact Remington about it. Like I said before I do have a few spare triggers that I would provide if yours is factory defective.
Over the decades I have become attached to my rifles...They are as personally important as any mechanical device can be.
If I got a bit over zealous in my earlier defense of my beloved Rem 700 and offended you in the process I apologize.

The trigger came from the factory with approx 10 lb pull. It was adjusted by who I consider to be the best smith in Alberta.
I never thought it a problem as it broke crisp at 3 1/2 lbs and was consistant with very little creep.
After all the hoop-la I grabbed a couple boxes of shells and went to the range to make certain this thing was safe for my son.
The safety didn't act up BUT if you pushed on the trigger to the right it would not fire if you pulled it, even several minutes later. At that point if you touched the bolt or safety it would fire.
It acted exactly the same as the sniper rifle in the doc and it was repeatable.

Well the kid is fifteen and all I could imagine is him struggling with a gun that could go off at any second.
If you push the trigger to the left it would fire with less than 1 lb pull.
Anyway the new Timney is in and no harm done.
As a kid I drooled weekly over a BDL in 30-06 at the local gun store. Money was tight and I had to hunt with a 303.
I never forgot that rifle and wanted my son's first rifle to be perfect.... So I quess I kind over over reacted to a minor issue.
I would have floated, bedded and replaced the trigger over time anyway as I like to get most possiable from a rifle. The rifle looks good, feels good and now shoots good so it's all good.
