Will anyone be importing the new Trijicon SRS sight?

I will try the SRS at SHOT and see if does the same thing as aimpoint for guys with astimagtism. If I don't see "eclipse" in the SRS, I am tossing my aimpoint and get the SRS.

I also have astigmatism, but by wearing my prescription glasses or position-sensitive contacts and usign the proper brightness setting to the ambient light situation, it's is basically all corrected for.

I view the XPS/EXPS as a regular Eotech 5XX series sight, but with a smaller battery compartment using mre efficient batteries to get even longer service life. They are optically the same sights.

Yes - I was referring to size (compact vs. standard). The XPS doesn't run on AA batteries, though (not that it's a huge thing, but just wanted to point that out).

Bigger than I thought as well... looks very nice though.

Iguess I can't blame Trijicon for tryign to caiptalize on what has become a very lucrative HWS market.

I just feel they need to come out with more of a "wow factor" product than this if they hoep to capture significant market share from the well-entrenched competitors. That, or hit a very attractive price point (which they do not appear to be doing).

Maybe the optics are the "wow" factor (shorter tube). As they say: seeing is believing...
