I've called out 9 different bulls including my 47.25" moose this year.. but in a total of 3 mornings in 2 weeks time.

I find in total rut rage... u can be a crappy caller.. but in pre and later rut... be on ur game. And remember that in late rut they will sometimes creep in super quiet. Sometimes too much calling will ruin ur day.

Post rut calling requires patience...they will come but it may take time, quite often for me its the next day I shoot a bull.

Late season, from now until about 3-4 weeks from now, calling just before dark, then returning in the morning and calling again has proven very effective. But you better sound like a desperate cow!
