Will BLR wood fit an 1895?

Guys,

I have a sweet 1895SS (pistol grip - not straight stock) with GORGEOUS walnut - but I've always wanted the pepper laminate wood from the BLR's or the XLR's.

Is it interchangeable? PLEASE say yes... :)

I say this with a fair deal of certainty, that wood from a Browning BLR will not fit a Marlin 1895 SS. The only similarity between them is they are both lever action hammer guns.

The wood from a Marlin XLR should fit your rifle though, with minor fitting to your particular rifle
