will cz sp01 shadow ever be .40

There is SP-01 in .40, comes with decocker only; it should be easy enough for CZ and there are reasons to release SP-01 in either Shadow or Custom Shop form in .40 as it'd be a very nice gun for IPSC that would make major....

I'd def buy one.

I'm actually looking for a IPSC gun in .40 at this moment and if one has any suggestions, please share :D

CZ already makes a .40 S&W chambered gun that's IPSC 'Standard Division' ready....

The approved list of guns for Production Division does not include the CZ SP-01 Custom. Has this been changed?

I wouldn't.
The Shadow is being built as a competition gun for IPSC production division and therefore no need for it to be anything other than 9mm.
Sales for this model in 40 would be effectively not worth it. The SP-01 in 40 is probably enough for CZ.

How much $$$ do you have to spend..this would be my first question and starting point.

my understanding is that SVI .40 (custom Built) is running somewhere around 4000.00 but you would have to call Frank N at CRAFM

the above price might change to reflect currency fluctuation

not sure where you live but if you are anywhere in GTA you are more that welcome to come out and try any of the above (except SVI)

The Shadow is only available in 9mm for production division. I emailed CZ-USA about it before I bought to see if the Shadow in .40 would eventually be a regularly produced item and they said it will only be available through the custom shop (not acceptable for IPSC production division).
 
I uderstand the SP-01 is now being made in .40cal. Don't think the Shadow is yet. The SP-01 is bieng shipped to CZUSA so it is coming from the factory in that caliber. Whether or not it will be listed for use in Production Division is for somebody else to say. Not sure if will be imported into Canada.
