will Dillon replace this part?

Hey guys I bought the XL650 and seem to have bent the deprimer die (think thats what its called) will Dillon replace this part? or do I have to buy a new set? I think its still usable but Im not sure... heres some pics of the bent part

All you have to replace is the pin at the end.

It's normal for them to get bent when people run into rocks or 22 shells in thier cases.

If it arrived new that way, I'm sure they will send you a replacement pin - if it's not new, Dillon sells the pins in 5 packs.
They're not very expensive and you should always have some extras just in case.

Edit to add: If you're careful, you might even be able to bend that one straight, you won't make it worse.

If it breaks, ask for a free replacement. That's what a warranty is for, isn't it?

Normally decapping pins aren't covered by warranty. Order a pkg of the proper decapping pins, they are hardened and made for the job. Usually under a buck apiece.

i've straightened the rcbs ones in a vise- a flat surface and a hammer also works, as does a nail

It's also smart to grab a bunch of the c clips for the decapping assembly as they will puke at the worst possible time.

My clip broke in half within the first couple weeks I owned the press. At first I didn't know what the heck went wrong with it - until I found the two broken halves. I went to Crappy Tire and bought a little bag full of them for $6 or something like that. It hasn't broken since.
