Will I be able to use this trigger?

So I was reading ORA rules from 2015, saying the minimum trigger weight is 2kg (4.5 lbs).

I've got a Geissele SD-E in my AR, weight is 2.9-3.5 lbs, so now I'm not sure if I can use it.

Has the rule changed at all? Does it apply to all DCRA/ORA matches for ARs?

Technically no, if you ask them nicely and tell them you are running SD-E, I doubt anyone will object to you playing with them.

Not sure if the DCRA checks trigger weight these days but I never ever seen them doing it, at least up til 4 or 5 years ago. If you tell them you are running SD-E, I will expect they will flat out say no and follow the rule book. If you get caught, they will disqualify you and may not welcome you back.

Same thought as GT. I don't think any rules on trigger weight have changed?
Out of the box SSA and SD-C meet minimum overall . SD-E and SSA-E don't. HSNM can do it with two of three spring setups.
A stiffer spring can be installed on the -E to bring them to ORA/DCRA mins.
