Will M14 Mags fit in the mag pouches of a CF Tac Vest?

I'm going to purchase an M14 and would like to know if the mag pouches on my issue tac vest are large enough for these mags. Anyone tried it?
 
the us m16 30 round pouch will take 2 m14/20s if you cut the seperators and put them in sideways-the old pouches for the fnc1 may or may not fit- i have a bunch that dom and one that's too tight- it's due to the little plate being welded in the back of the mag- the fn mag doesn't have that
 
Nope doesn't fit I don't like the issue rig anyway and neither do most of the people I work with, warlords seem to be the popular rig if you don't mind paying for em, or check out tac taylor.

Is that the HSGI Warlord? I've seen the Tac Taylor ones they seem pretty nice but I'd much rather spend a bunch of money on ammo. :p
 
I just got the I.C.E. Tac. MOLLE cumberbund from One Shot Tac. It's on sale for 35 bones and fits nice and built well. Not as bulky as a full rig. They got some mag pouches on sale too.

Yep that's the one there's a couple of versions, tac taylor has some good molle rigs. so far these have been the most popular in the stan, and with molle you can set it up for anything.

I've just tried it.

My CF issued tac vest will not hold the M14 mags.
Though my C-9 gun pouch is able to have all 4 of my M-14 mags, there's room for roughly 2 more M-14 mags.

If you want to run the 7.62x51Nato Mag in the CF tac vest, you'd have a hell of a time.
My C-7 mags fits VERY snug in my 4 chest piece in CF t.v.
