Will Novak rear fit my chrome np29?

So I ordered the chrome norinco np29 from Durham outdoors

I'm wondering if the sights are interchangeable with standard Novak rear sights ?
In the pic they look a little different then standard gi ones.

The Norc 1911 uses the same rear sight dovetail as a Colt 1911. Any sight made for the Colt will fit.

If Novack uses their own dovetail (and I think they do) then your gunsmith will have to cut a new dovetail. The Norc steel is hard and the heavy chrome will make it a b!tch to cut.

Sorry to hijack but how about the front sight dovetail are any sights interchangeable for the front

I have never found an off the shelf front that would fit the Norc 1911 front dovetail. If it is a stake on, you can use a Colt narrow tenon front; or you can convert to a dovetail by cutting. If it is a dovetail front, it has to be cut larger.
