i'm thinking about picking this up tomorrow.

it will fit a mossberg 500. i have a mossberg maverick 88. i'm pretty sure it will fit, but i just wanted to see if anyone knows for certain.

the stock will fit the maverick but the forend wont as the mavericks has its action bars built into the foregrip and no removeable

cool. good to hear. i don't care about the forend much. I can get the stock + forend for only $5 more at Cabelas here in Edmonton than just the stock shipped from anywhere i've found online. I'll probably just sell the fore grip or something.

for less money you can buy a Knoxx SpecOps NRS (non-recoil reducing), or for a little bit more you could buy a recoil reducing Knoxx SpecOps. the build quality/warranty is superior to ATIs.

the forend will not fit the mavericks because the maverick forend has the action bars riveted on. you can buy a mossberg 500 forend tube/action bar assembly but its not really worth it since by the time you are done your maverick will have cost more than a mossberg 500.

the best i've seen the NRS knoxx stock for was $129 plus shipping. this is my beater/camp/bear gun, so i'm not super worried about it. i do want a recoil reducing knocc stock for my next shotgun though...

the ati talon with the recoil reducing grip is awesome! I put one on the old ladies maverick and she loves it!

Hey MBP where is the best or only place to get one of those knoxx recoil reducing stocks ,I have 590's and a 500 coming and would lke to fit out at least one with an adjustable recoil reducing stock? have you tried these out?

saw some SpecOps stocks at Epps pretty cheap recently. you could phone them, they may ship - im not sure ive never had them ship anything before.

as for the best place to order a 500/590 stock - no clue. i just checked at Brownells, and they have one NRS left at $52, but its for the 870. there used to be some CGN sponsor who had great prices on Knoxx stocks, but i cant for the life of me remember which one it was.

I will call epps, wolverine has them on special order for $125.. That the rs spec ops!

the NRS? (non-recoil-reducing?)
thats a horrible price, they are $52-69 at Brownells (for the 870).

for the recoil-reducing version, $125 is about as good a price as youll find in Canada.

Sorry, it was Recoil Reducing and yea thats what I thought, good price, I will have to call to see how long they will take to get in.

One more quick question. i have a line on a knoxx recoil reducing stock.off.a.mossberg 590a1. I just wanted to confirm that this will fit.my maverick. again, im pretty sure, just nit certain. Pardon the spelking...posting this from my phone
