Will this press let me reload .44 magnum ammo?

read it but i cant get any bullet recipes from it!
i need some other manual for that any recommendations?

Go to the sticky ^ and hit the link for the Hodgdon on line manual, its free. Best paper one is probably the latest Lyman manual,, #49 I think it is.

For your 44 mag you don't need to go berserk on the manuals. Its a common caliber and probably the Hodgdon site, which includes Winchester and IMR data as well as Hodgdon's, will give you plenty of choices.

The press in that add is an old Lee Challenger. They don't make it anymore, but they do make the updated Breech Lock Challenger. I have both and they work very well, but would choose to pay a little more for the newer version and its features. You could get a kit and dies etc. from the "Lee Factory Sales" company that sell only LEE gear. They are down the road from LEE in Hartford WI, but are not the actual LEE company. This auction would be a fair deal if you got it to your house well under $100 but if it bids too high plus shipping (if the seller will ship to Canada) then new stuff out of US would be cheaper, or a little more from a Canadian dealer.

Hodgdon/IMR/Winchester Powder load data.

I'm not sure where the online how to manuals are. Most of the companies want you to buy their book. LEE does offer all their equipment instructions online which will contain some basic reloading info. If I was buying a manual starting out, I would choose the Lyman 49 or Speer 19 for the info and the way it is laid out. I would also recommend the LEE book as a a supplement.
