Hi,

Just love my Trojan. Got this sweet trigger that I love. The thing is I'd like to try something else or upgrade. All I do is bullseye shooting, 9mm. I need a thight gun that's accurate. My shooting partner just bought a 952 performace Center and my other friend an X5. I'd like to be a little more competitive and don't give me that crap about "the one I'm the most confortable with". What alternatives are there to those two ? - And yes, it's only about egos. I can live with that thank you !:p

What would you choose between a STI RangeMaster (about 2000$), a Tanfoglio somethingy (2000$ range) ? Is an Edge more accurate than my trojan ?

I know, I'm a complex person.:bangHead:

How about for one of these?

indeed. Nice colts :D but I need something real accurate in 9mm.

I wish Tanfoglio owners would speak up. I rarely see these guns for sale (used) and I'm wondering about their accuracy. What about the Limited custom? Is it any good ? They seem temperimental and precious (fragile perhaps:rolleyes:) from what I have read.

Thanks !

It's called practice. Your Trojan is accuarate enough to shoot with the big boys. It all comes down to you. I had an Edge that was extremely accurate, but it never helped me in the standings at matches. I sold it and now shoot a Kimber single stack and my rankings are about the same. With practice I am getting better with an inferior (not) gun.

If it's a matter of my gun is better than yours buy an Edge. If you want to shoot better practice.

Steve

Nothing gives me a bigger ego boost than outshooting someone who is using a handgun that costs many times more than the one I'm shooting with.

I keep hearing about how inaccurate Glocks are.
The last time I had mine out to the range, at about 5 metres, I put 5 shots in the space of a 1/2 dollar (coin ;))... and I'm not a great shot!
If the trigger on my CZ was cleaned up a bit, I could probably do the same out to about 7 or 8 metres.

if your serious about accuracy and the wallet is not an issue, why dont get the Les Baer, Im sure you can inquire about importation from Questar. check Les site, they have lot of option. or better call them.

The Tangs are not bad, but its not top of the line, like I said, if you want the best 1911 ( accuracy, fit and reliability then there is only one choice, LES BAER ) my second choice would be the ED BROWNS.

I know. The X Five's a great gun but I don't want to buy what these guys have. If you would level the playing field, then we'd know who's the better shot and any of us don't want that.;)

If you really want an accurate 9mm semi, that will also end any speculation about your manhood the single best choice is a Sig P-210. You've never seen one??? Guess why. Probably the highest quality 9mm ever made. Confirms every stereotype you've ever heard about the Swiss.

I know what I'm getting !

I really love my STI and since I've been to the range today and did pretty good with my gun costing at least a thousand less than my friend's :p, I'll stick with STI except I'm getting the Target Master in 9mm. This gun is made for paper punching and at around 1900 $, it's in my price range.

By the way. God bless people who wake up in the morning, grab their gear,go to their Club and shot metal down the range for four or five hours. Man I wish I could make a living from this ! :shotgun:

Good to see you have come to your senses.
I almost got rid of my STI Ranger II in 9mm.I am glad it didnt sell because it is a sweet gun and very accurate.
