Almost...hopefully. The fat lady is getting ready.
As a long-time former employee, I had a frank discussion with my store manager, and he said they'd never sell firearms, even mentioned that ammo is more of a "courtesy" sale to customers. Both have really slim margins.
I can see the crowd getting ready to stampede already. "f**k the local gunstore! I can get a Stevens 200 for $30 less at Walmart."
Under the new proposed system should the registry be abolished all who sell a firearm be it a dealer or private individual will be required to keep a record for life of all gun sales. So that means if you sell a firearm for example on the EE here you will be required to keep a record of that sale for the rest of your life, with all the pertinent information of the buyer readily available should the gov't or police wish to review said information etc. Sound like fun yet?![]()
If I bought a gun from my local walmart, my house would be robbed by the time I got home.
I'm sure that already happens with every other item in their shop...
We NEED Canadian Tire, Walmart and ALL the likes selling guns. It's too limited where we can buy right now, and half the time we can't even get the ones we want (from the likes of Lebaron etc)[/QUOTE]
The canadian tire in belleville is now stocking Norinco m14 hp9-1 Benelli R1 and mossy 590a1.
.223, 308 40S&W and 9mm ammo.
The times are changeing
