We at TDSA Canada are proud to announce our first annual registration day , and our first of many competition shoots.

We will be running a 2 stage event at silverdale gun club on Saturday April 30th 2016. This will be the kick-off of our new competition circuit C.A.S.S.L. (Canadian Action Scenario Shooting League)

There will be a raffle for a FREE TDSA Canada course as well as some other raffle prizes. How do you enter the raffle you ask? Simple.... register for a course on or before April 30th. Also, everyone who has already signed up through the website or who signs up between April 9th and April 30th will get 10 ballots entered in the draw.
THIS IS A $50 value (winner of the course can use it on booking a future course not to redeem it on an already booked date)

Each Ballot will cost $5 (ALL proceeds from the draw will be DONATED to Make-a-wish foundation)

More details and information will be posted here very soon.

Thanks to all,

Aaron

It is TDSA Canada's new competition circuit. It stands for Canadian Action Scenario Shooting League.

Our students had asked for a venue to showcase the skills that they have learned, maintained and sharpened.

NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BECOME "KING OF C.A.S.S.L."

More details on times, COF, and rules will be announced shortly.

Hi TDSA,

I am definitely interested in this event, I know it should be a lot of fun. Have been out a TDSA event in the past ;) (though I know this is a competition kick off of sorts).

I know you mentioned more details to come, what I was specifically wondering was if there exists round count estimate? (i know we likely will need to bring extra as well)

Thanks!
F.

Hello Felonius,

A very good question indeed.

I would say to be on the safe side, bringing 200 rounds will be adequate. That way you know you won't run out of ammo.

Worst case , you grab some more ammo from our friends at Lanz Shooting which is of course on site at Silverdale.

We look forward to seeing you downrange.

Cheers,

Aaron

Hello friends,

We at TDSA Canada are proud to announce our first annual Registration Day , and our first of many C.A.S.S.L. competition shoots.

At TDSA Canada's registration day we will have a booth set up with instructors/staff who will be available to answer questions that shooters may have about participating in a course, we can guide you through the registration online and assist you in finding out what course(s) are the right fit for you. Whether you have gear/equipment inquiries, or you just want to converse with some like minded individuals that enjoy the shooting sports as much as you do!! It would be a pleasure for us to meet some new people and reconnect with some familiar faces.

Shooters will be designated into 2 groups,

-Holster Qualified (with card proof) will start match holstered and begin with a safe draw.

This sounds like fun, bonus for running a non-holster section.

Sadly I think my ATT is up due to letting my membership expire at another club, plus Silverdale wouldn't let me bring my restricted anyways.

PM sent Mr Shmoo.

Also, we made the no holster section available so that people who want to get a taste of a competition can still do so before they commit to further training and / or purchasing equipment they may not need.

We're about 1/3 booked for next weekends competition shoot.

Also, we're over 60% booked for our 2016 season already!! Get yourself registered for the course(s) you're intrested in before it's to late!!!

Hi TDSA crew and the sponsors,

Thank you so much for the event, it was great fun and definitely enjoyed by all.
Well run and organized, and lots of fun shooting steel at the end of the day.

Anyone who hasn't come out to a TDSA event and is looking to have some fun, and pick up a few tips along the way definitely give it a go for the next event!

Thanks again!

I had a blast, weather was perfect minus a little bit of wind, and the TDSA guys were great. Hopefully next time I can bring my own piece, although Corie's G34 was niiiiiiice (minus that silly mag release).

Hello everyone ,

I just wanted to post some numbers from yesterday's CASSL match.

We had 30 people register for the event, but only 16 people made it out. We ran our 2 stages and then ran a head to head eliminator round to determine the winner.

We awarded a free course to the winners of the holster and non holster partisipants.

We also gave away a free course along with several prizes that were donated from our wonderful sponsors.

A big thanks to Silverdale Gun Club , Lanz Shooting Supplies, Wolf Ammo, Select Shooting Supplies, GoFast Shooting Supplies, TDSA Canada, Code of Arms and Sinister Paint

Last but not least, we raised $640 for the Make A Wish Foundation. So a HUGE thanks to all who came out and bought raffle tickets.

All winners that were not present for the raffle will be contacted shortly.

Cheers,

Aaron
