Never been much of a fan of Lee Enfield actions, not that I don't think they are capable but I have always been a lover of the Mauser Sporters.
Then this came along.
BSA Lee Speed Sporterized by William Moore and Grey, I think this is the ###iest 303 I have ever seen, classic lines, beautiful piece of walnut, light engraving, dust cover on the bolt can't wait to shoot it.

A lovely old rifle. Its unlikely that it is sporterized, its an original sporting rifle. Pre WW1, of course, probably sighted for Mk.VI ammunition.

Assuming that it is sound, I don't know why not. Pressure specs for .303 haven't changed. I have a BSA Model 4 sporting rifle, ca 1910. Not as nice as yours, a plainer grade. Retailed by Army & Navy. It shoots commercial .303 just fine.
