I ordered from Brownells the Williams firesights for the sks. The front sight is a fiber optic (red), and rear is apeture. Does anyone have or used them. Looking for serious advice about sighting other than the 75 yard tactical use
Thanx for the info, I have a leapers mount on my sks-d model but I'm still looking for a place that sells choate drill&tap side receiver mounts. I'm trying to keep my $hit as tactical as possible. The leapers mount needs tools and valuable time to remove, and of course will not retain zero. I still haven't decided on what type of scope( tactical) I want yet so I'm using a tasco 2-8x32mm 30-30 recticle for the time being. So far one downside to my tool is the stock I'm using is that in order to remove trigger assembly I still need a rachet in order to remove the pistol grip for the Tapco t-6 stock.silverado7 said:just got an sks that came with some to be installed. i put them on and they are sooooo much better than stock. i had never messed around with the sights on these things before but had both front and back on in an hour. the front sight is a little bit of a pain to remove without the propper tool. (i used pliers)
i started at 25 yrds ---50 yrds---100 yrds. i like em but still want to scope it.
good luck
Thanx for the info!Wendell said:The ghost ring is probably the the best money I've ever spent.
