Williams FP or XS ghost ring

Im trying to decide of either of these 2 sights for my marlin guide gun and was hoping some people with experience would chime in. This setup will be used for Ontario deer hunting as well as the occasional bear hunt. This is my woods walking rifle during deer season, any advice will be greatly appreciated

I have xs on a markin30 30 and find them awesome,really fast and automatic target aquisition .

What about Skinner sights. I ordered the brass front and the blued rear with a brass peep with 2 interchangeable sizes and the dovetail plug to replace the original sight on my Marlin 444. Peeps are definitely the way to go.
 
On my 356 win and a model 99 in 300 savage I have Williams FP rear with a brass Skinner blade on the front. In the thick stuff I remove the eye piece and have a ghost ring. If I am sitting in an open spot I leave it in and have a little better accuracy. Just what I like YMMV.
 
I have the XS ghost ring sights on my guide gun. They work quite well. They are very sturdy and quick to acquire a sight picture. I shot an elk with that gun and sight a few years ago. It was probably only 3 seconds that passed from the time I saw the elk, dropped to a knee, and fired a round right into his heart.
 
I had a Marlin with an XS, a BLR with a Williams receiver peep and fire site post, I presently have a Rossi with Skinner rear and fire site post, all were good but my choice would be the winged XS with a fire site front
 
I have used all, the skinner, the xs, the Williams fp and the wild west guns aperture sights. If you intend on dialing the sight up for longer shots then the Williams is the best, but if you are going to beat around the bush then the skinner or the wild west sight is the ticket as they are shielded against those times when the sight could get bumped. The xs seems to be the easiest and cheapest to acquire. I was in Vegas last week at the Wild West Gun shop and there sight is very well built and the aperture is very thin giving a beautiful sight picture, but they are always out of stock. The skinner one is excellent also and the guy that makes them is very good to deal with.
