Received my sinclair order yesterday and was blown away with my first arbor die. Its the uber fancy stainless click micrometer version that screams precision. The fit between the stem and the die body is almost an interference fit, and the body holds the case so tightly that you have to pop the case out with a small screwdriver after seating. This is my first step into loading with an arbor press and it is a pleasure.
I am still using a coax for resizing with a body die, followed by the collet, and then finish case prep with a 0.283 expander to finish the neck tension prior to seating. First trial loading with the seating die show hardly any noticeable runout and seating depth is very consistant. I am was trialling with the regular seater, as I'm waiting on the VLD seating stem from wilson, and the results with 175gn bergers is still very good and will hold OAL within 0.002". I suspect when the VLD seater arrives it will be PERFECT.
While traditional seating dies ie, forster, redding are excellent in quality, this die simply blows them away in the feel and experience. Hope others try these amazing dies.
