I can understand what you're saying, but on the flip side, that was his accuracy rested on a "bench". If you're in a situation where you need to engage a target, chances are you're going to be hyped up just a little bit, which will decrease your accuracy, for some people more than others. From what that video showed me, that accuracy could very well be the difference between a hit and a miss. I believe that if you've run the barrel for a substantial amount of rounds, and you've experienced no issues, there's no reason the barrel shouldn't be used in a duty/self defence weapon. I personally would, but I'm not a ninja, so I probably don't know any better.
