Wilson Combat Parts?

Hey,

If I wanted to tuned a 1911 that's not a Wilson, How do you know what parts fit in your gun or are they all the same because of the 1911 Government platform?

Wilson make quality parts. Some custom parts for 1911's must have fitting ,regardless of which brand they are. Some are drop in. Any parts which require fitting will say so on the package. Hugh rise beavertail for example, some are drop in, some rquire removal of metal. Most any brand of trigger will require some fitting. If ordering from Brownells it will tell you which parts you can drop in and which you will need to fit. Good luck on making a good gun better.

order the required parts and bring it to a gunsmith to put together...don't cheap out on few dollars in labour.

we all know nothing on a 1911 is "drop in"

The only thing that is a "drop in" on a 1911, is springs. Everything else should be properly fitted by a knowledgeable "1911" smith.
